Splunk Mobile for Android release notes

This version of Splunk Mobile for Android was released on March 14, 2023. This version of Splunk Mobile for Android has the following features and known issues.

What's new

This version of Splunk Mobile for Android has the following update:

  • You can now customize how you view Studio dashboards in Settings > Customize dashboards. Select the viewing mode and default visualization tray state.
  • You can now review the Splunk Mobile for Android app within the app in Settings > Give feedback.
  • Support for form inputs powered by data sources
  • Security and performance improvements

Fixed issues

This version of Splunk Mobile for Android has no fixed issues.

Known issues

This version of Splunk Mobile for Android has the following known issues:

13 September 2022 MSB-3138

Active users are being logged out after 30 days and there's a limit to the number of registered devices a user could log in with. This affects all Splunk Mobile users. A fix is in progress for Splunk Cloud Platform version 9.0.2203 and Splunk Enterprise version 9.0.3.

Workaround: Navigate to Settings > Tokens and delete all tokens from the cloudgateway audience, and make sure each user has a maximum of 2 registered devices.
