Fixed issues in Splunk IT Service Intelligence

Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) version 4.11.3 was released on December 22, 2021. It includes a fix for the following issue:

Glass Table

Date resolved Issue number Description
2021-12-22 ITSI-20703 Glass Tables only load the first 100 fetched services and their respective KPIs and after loading those objects, no subsequent objects are populated with data, having "Service Unavailable" appearing instead.

In addition, this version includes version 2.17.0 of Apache log4j libraries, which Apache released to address CVE-2021-45105.

CVE-2021-45105 isn't applicable to Splunk IT Service Intelligence as configuration parameters don't incorporate the vulnerable pattern. For more information, see "Additional Guidance for CVE-2021-45105" on Splunk Security Advisory for Apache Log4j (CVE-2021-44228 and CVE-2021-45046).

You have to perform additional required steps to complete your upgrade to 4.11.3, see Version-specific upgrade notes for ITSI.
