About this release

Version 1.1.0 of Splunk Connect for Kafka is compatible with the following software and platforms:

Splunk platform versions 6.5 and later
Platforms Platform independent
Vendor products Kafka Connect

New features

Version 1.1 of Splunk Connect for Kafka contains the following new features:

  • Support for ingestion of data from Kafka headers.
  • Support for structured records (JSON & AVRO converter support).
  • Ability to use custom Java KeyStore location for SSL.

Version 1.1.0 of Splunk Connect for Kafka contains the following fixed issues.
