Release notes for Splunk App for Windows Infrastructure

This topic contains information on new features, known issues, and updates as we version the Splunk App for Windows Infrastructure.

Version 2.0.2 of the Splunk App for Windows Infrastructure was released on January 20, 2021.

What's new

Splunk App Windows Infrastructure version 2.0.2 now supports Splunk Add-on for Windows version 8.0.0 and Windows server 2019.

The occurrences of the biased terms such as blacklist, whitelist, master, and slave have been replaced with appropriate non-biased terms. Note that the occurrences of biased terms that are Splunk platform references, third party-library references, or part of the product terminology, have been kept as is.

Workaround:
The scope of the search populating the kbvstore lookup tSessions_collection is too wide.
