Determine daily volume

This search works correctly in 3.0.2 and later. If you have an earlier version, you can update to 3.0.2 to run this report.


Please note: This report will only return data from the point of upgrade and on.


You can run the pre-packaged saved search "Daily indexing volume" from SplunkWeb's default landing page. Click the link under "Saved searches:"

You can also configure your default dashboard to display your daily indexing volume, if you want to see it charted every time you go to SplunkWeb's default landing page. Click "Edit content" in the upper right-hand corner of SplunkWeb:

Click the checkbox next to "Daily indexing volume" and then click "Apply:"
