Upgrade your license for more data

If you need to upgrade your license, contact Splunk Sales.


Once you have received a new license, you can install it by copying and pasting it into the SplunkWeb License interface:

You can also scp the license to your Splunk Server and then copy it into your $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/ directory, overwriting your current splunk.license file.


Please note: Both methods will require a restart of your Splunk Server in order for the new licensing level to take effect.
