Company Background

When was the company founded? When was the product released?

Splunk was founded in 2003 and released its first product in 2005.


Who are your investors? How much money have you raised?

Splunk's investors include August Capital, Sevin Rosen Funds and JK&B Capital, three world-class venture capital firms. Splunk has raised $15 million in two rounds of funding, with a $10 million Series B completed in January 2006.


What are your revenues? When do you expect to be profitable?

Splunk is an early stage revenue company. We shipped our first revenue product in November 2005. We expect to be profitable by 2008.
