How Splunk Works

Set up auto-refresh

This documentation does not apply to the most recent version of Splunk. Click here for the latest version.

Set up auto-refresh

You can set Splunk to autorefresh every N seconds. Splunk's UI developer, Nick, has written a script that will autorefresh your Splunk instance. You must click on the javascript link in his blog post and save it as a bookmark. Once you are at the SplunkWeb interface you want to autorefresh, click on the bookmark to enable it. You can edit the bookmark to change the time of autorefresh. Look for 30000 in the link and change it to whatever number (in milliseconds) you want.

For more information, please read Nick's blog post on autorefreshing.

This documentation applies to the following versions of Splunk: 3.0 , 3.0.1 , 3.0.2 , 3.1 , 3.1.1 , 3.1.2 , 3.1.3 , 3.1.4 View the Article History for its revisions.
