Find and manage saved searches
Delete and modify saved searches, or add them to the dashboard.
Delete or modify saved searches
To delete or modify your saved searches:
1. Click the drop-down arrow on the search bar.
2. From the drop-down menu, select Saved searches.
3. Select Manage saved searches.
The Manage saved searches dialog opens. Now, you can edit your saved searches.
Display saved searches on dashboard
While you are saving a search or modifying a saved search, you can add it to one or more dashboards. You can also add saved searches to the dashboard from Splunk Web's home page:
1. To return to the home page, click on the Splunk logo.
2. From the Dashboard drop-down menu (below the search bar and to the right), select a dashboard.
- If you choose to create a new dashboard..., enter a name for your new dashboard.
- Select your new dashboard from the list.
3. Click the Edit link located next to the dashboard menu.
4. Check one or more saved searches to add to the dashboard.
5. Click Apply.
