Synopsis

Causes ui to highlight specified terms.

Syntax

highlight (string)+

Arguments

string
Syntax: <string>
Description: Strings to match and highlight.

Description

Causes the strings provided to be highlighted by the Splunk Web ui.

Examples

Example 1: Highlight the terms "login" and "logout".

... | highlight login,logout
