Command-line search enhancements
Splunk's command line interface now offers a number of new capabilities including:
- Ability to run searches and export results without size constraints
- Support for real-time search capabilities from the command-line
- Ability to preview results as a search is running (for both historical and real-time searches)
- Ability to display simple reports such as tables in a terminal interface
- Ability to specify wrapping, highlighting and other display characteristics in the terminal interface
- Support for multi-byte characters on Windows
