Synopsis

Causes ui to highlight specified terms.

Syntax

highlight <string>+

Required arguments

<string>
Syntax: <string>,...
Description: Comma-separated list of keywords to highlight in results.

Description

Causes the strings provided to be highlighted by Splunk Web.

Examples

Example 1: Highlight the terms "login" and "logout".

... | highlight login,logout
