How to install or upgrade to this release of Splunk UBA
Splunk UBA 5.0.4 is a maintenance release containing content updates, feature enhancements, and fixed issues. Refer to the Release Notes for a summary of this information.
Splunk UBA 5.0.4 also includes some files that must be copied to a Splunk UBA 5.0.0 environment in order to be able to install Splunk UBA 5.0.0 on RHEL 7.8. See Install Splunk UBA on a single Linux server and Install Splunk UBA on several Linux servers in the Splunk UBA 5.0.0 documentation.

Splunk UBA 5.0.0 requires files from the Splunk UBA 5.0.4 installation package in order to complete the installation on RHEL 7.8. If your upgrade or installation path requires you to install Splunk UBA 5.0.0 on RHEL 7.8, follow the installation instructions carefully and make sure you do not skip the steps to obtain and extract files from the Splunk UBA 5.0.4 installation package.
