app builder

A tool available through Splunk Manager that helps you build apps. You can use the app builder to create and customize your app workspace. The app builder creates your app directory structure for you, as well as the app.conf configuration file that registers your app with your Splunk server. It also lets you name your app, add custom HTML, CSS, or images. The app builder currently offers two app templates, which provide a basic structure that you can add to, subtract from, and modify in order to create a functioning app.
