Splunk Enterprise trial

noun

A version of Splunk that lets you try out Splunk Enterprise features on a temporary basis. The Splunk Enterprise trial license is enabled by default on all new installations of Splunk, and expires after 60 days. When it expires, the Splunk instance switches to a Splunk Free license.
