Visual Dashboard Editor
noun
A tool that enables the creation of dashboards through Splunk Web (as opposed to working directly with the simple or advanced XML upon which the dashboard is based). You can set up a multi-panel dashboard in a matter of minutes. The dashboards you create can include charts, event lists, tables, and "single value" panels. Each panel in a dashboard is driven either by a saved search or an inline search string. The Visual Dashboard Editor also enables you to define basic table/chart drilldown behavior for dashboard panels.
