Get started with Splunk Edge Hub

Get environmental sensor data into your Splunk platform without any complex configuration using Splunk Edge Hub devices and Splunk Edge Hub OS. A Splunk Edge Hub device is a Splunk-configured hardware with built-in sensors. It collects sensor data and streams it into your Splunk platform instance using a HTTP Event Collector (HEC) endpoint.

Splunk Edge Hub OS sends data to your Splunk platform instance when you provide your HTTP Event Collector (HEC) endpoint in the Splunk App for Edge Hub and AR. Configuring your HEC endpoint using the Splunk App for Edge Hub and AR is part of the registration process.
