Latest release

The latest version of the Splunk Add-on for New Relic is version 2.1.0. See Release notes for the Splunk Add-on for New Relic for the release notes of this latest version.

Version 2.0.0

Version 2.0.0 of the Splunk Add-on for New Relic has the same compatibility specifications as Version 2.1.0.

Note: Version 2.0.0 was the first Splunk supported release of the Splunk Add-on for New Relic. Previous community-supported releases are not supported by Splunk. Before you upgrade the Splunk Add-on for New Relic from version 1.x to 2.x, you must remove all the configuration files, including previously configured inputs, from the local directory in the earlier, community-supported version. After the upgrade, create new data inputs in the most current version of the add-on.

New features

Version 2.0.0 of the Splunk Add-on for New Relic has the following new features.

  • Collect data from New Relic APM through New Relic REST API (v2)
  • Collect data from New Relic Insights through the Insights Query API

Known issues

Version 2.0.0 of the Splunk Add-on for New Relic contains the following known issues.
