Troubleshoot the Splunk Add-on for New Relic

General troubleshooting

No data arriving on the data collection node

If you added an input, but no data appears to be coming in:

  1. Verify your API key and Account ID are correct in the input configuration.
  2. Search for "Cannot connect to proxy" or "Tunnel connection fails" in the logs. If these messages appear, check your proxy configuration:
    1. If you have a proxy configured on the Configuration tab, verify that it is configured correctly.
    2. Check your splunk_launch.conf file to ensure that you do not have a proxy configured there. If there is a proxy configuration in this file, remove it.
