Troubleshoot the Splunk Add-on for New Relic
No data arriving on the data collection node
If you added an input, but no data appears to be coming in:
- Verify your API key and Account ID are correct in the input configuration.
- Search for "Cannot connect to proxy" or "Tunnel connection fails" in the logs. If these messages appear, check your proxy configuration:
- If you have a proxy configured on the Configuration tab, verify that it is configured correctly.
- Check your
splunk_launch.conffile to ensure that you do not have a proxy configured there. If there is a proxy configuration in this file, remove it.
