Troubleshoot Splunk Hadoop Connect

Common issues can occur when you deploy Splunk Hadoop Connect.

Note: This topic is not for the Troubleshoot menu within Splunk Hadoop Connect, but rather for issues with the app itself. See "Use the Troubleshoot menu."

Common issues with Splunk Hadoop Connect

Hadoop CLI version mismatch

Splunk Hadoop Connect generates errors if the version of Hadoop CLI does not match the version of Hadoop on the cluster you are monitoring. Make sure that your Hadoop CLI utilities match the version of Hadoop installed on the cluster that you monitor.
