Overview of Splunk IT Cloud
Splunk IT Cloud prevents service interruptions and reduces the mean time to restore service. Splunk IT Cloud is available in standard and plus editions, each with individual host-based pricing. A host is a physical or virtual instance that reports metrics or log data to Splunk Cloud. Non-virtualized environments have physical hosts, and virtualized or public cloud environments have virtual hosts. A host can have up to 64 GB of memory.
Serverless functions, such as Amazon Web Service Lambda or Microsoft Azure Functions, are classified as a separate type of host with per-function pricing.
The following editions each have their own set of features, capabilities, and limitations.
