Introduction to the dashboards available in ITSI

Use Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) dashboards to organize and communicate data insights. Dashboards let you monitor and learn about important metrics and trends within ITSI.

All dashboards are located under Dashboards from the ITSI main menu. The ITSI app comes with the following pre-built dashboards that you can use for prediction and analysis:

Dashboard Description
Event Analytics Audit Provides visualizations to help you monitor events and actions in Episode Review.
Event Analytics Monitoring Provides troubleshooting information for ITSI's Event Analytics functionality.
Predictive Analytics Uses machine learning models to predict the health score value of a selected service.
ITSI Health Check Checks for duplicate entity aliases and lists the size of all KV store collections.

To build a new dashboard, click Create New Dashboard on the Dashboards lister page. For more information about creating and editing dashboards, see Create a dashboard and Edit dashboards in the Splunk Dashboards and Visualizations Manual.

Dashboards are created in the context of a particular app. For example, if you are using the IT Service Intelligence app, dashboards use this app context. After you create a dashboard, you can modify its permissions to share or manage access for other users. You can also modify the app context.

For a short overview of the most common operations, definitions, and commands you will use when you create dashboards, see the Splunk Dashboards Quick Reference Guide.
