Removed features in Splunk IT Service Intelligence
This page lists computing platforms, browsers, and features for which IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) has deprecated or removed support in version 4.8.0.
What does "removed" mean?
When ITSI removes support for a feature, browser, or platform, it means that the feature, browser, or platform no longer works with the ITSI platform, and customers must find an alternative.
max_event_in_parent_group from the Rules Engine properties file
The max_event_in_parent_group
setting was removed from the itsi_rules_engine.properties
file because the setting was unnecessary. Decreasing the value isn't necessary for any known use cases, while increasing it has no impact because its limit is defined by the other group and sub-group settings in the file. The removal of the setting has no impact on migration or any Rules Engine functionality. For more information about the Rules Engine sizing parameters, see Tune episode and aggregation policy sizing parameters in ITSI in the Event Analytics manual.
