Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring integration requirements for ITSI

These are the requirements and compatible software for the Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring integration with IT Service Intelligence (ITSI). Once you understand the requirements, start configuring the integration. For more information, see Integrate Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring with ITSI.

Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring organization and privileges

You must have a user login for the Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring organization you're using to set up the integration with ITSI. You don't need admin privileges for this organization. For more information on setting up users, see Managing Users and Teams in the Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring documentation.

You must have ITSI version 4.5.0 or later to set up the integration with Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring. Version 4.6.0 provides a preconfigured navigation link from each Infrastructure Monitoring entity in ITSI back to the corresponding instance in Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring. Versions 4.5.0 and 4.6.0 are Splunk Cloud only and are not available on Splunkbase.

Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring Add-on for ITSI

You must configure the Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring Add-on to pull Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring metrics and events data into ITSI. For configuration information, see Set up the Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring Add-on in the Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring Add-on manual.
