Inputs overview for the Splunk App for ServiceNow

The Splunk App for ServiceNow includes the following twenty preconfigured inputs that gather data from your ServiceNow environment to present in the app dashboards. The table below indicates which inputs feed data to which dashboards.

These inputs are automatically enabled and begin collecting data as soon as you configure the app, unless you disable them on the Configure > Data inputs screen.

cmdb_ci All lists of configuration items defined in the CMDB None
cmdb_ci_server All the servers defined in the CMDB None
cmdb_ci_service All services defined in the CMDB None
cmdb_ci_vm All virtual machines defined in the CMDB None
cmdb_ci_rel_ci All relationships defined in the CMDB None
cmn_location All ServiceNow locations None
em_event Events Overview
Auto-Created Incidents
incident Incident records Overview
Incident Performance
Incident Inspector
Auto-Created Incidents
Open Incidents by Geography
problem Problem records None
sys_audit All internal auditing information None
sys_choice A list of all choices defined in ServiceNow None
sys_user_group List of all user groups in ServiceNow None
