Plan your deployment of the Splunk App for ServiceNow
To install and configure this app on your Splunk platform, follow these steps.
1. Follow the guide to configure integration between your ServiceNow instance and your Splunk platform. This integration is required if you want to allow app users to be able to create incidents or events in ServiceNow from the Splunk platform.
2. Install the app to your Splunk platform.
3. Set up the app to connect to your ServiceNow account. If you did not perform step 1, be sure to use a ServiceNow account that has, at minimum, read-only access to the database tables from which you want to collect data.
