Prepare the peers for index replication
After you enable the peers, you might need to perform further configuration to prepare them for index replication. Of key importance, you must ensure that the peers are using a common set of indexes. You might also have other configurations that you need to distribute to all the peers.
If you use only the default set of indexes, you can start replicating data right away. However, if you need to send data to additional indexes, you must first perform additional configuration.
For information on how to configure indexes across cluster peers, read "Configure the peer indexes".
For other peer configuration issues, read "Configure the peers".
Best practice: Forward master node data to the indexer layer
Use forwarders to get your data
