Splunk Mobile developers who use version 5.x or later of the Splunk MINT SDK can now use HTTP Event Collector (HEC) to send data to Splunk Enterprise after an update to version 6.4.
Developers can now create custom setup pages for their apps
Beginning with version 6.4, Splunk app developers can now create custom app setup pages by referencing the page in
app.conf within their app. They can create the page in standard HTML, or use Simple XML or Setup XML.
