This document contains Splunk-Cloud-specific information about new features, known issues, and issues resolved in this version.
Splunk Cloud delivers many (but not all) of the features of Splunk Enterprise, plus some features that are available only to Splunk Cloud subscribers. The features in your Splunk Cloud environment might vary from those in Splunk Enterprise because of your topology, deployment, and configuration settings.
Splunk Cloud uses a firewall to prevent unauthorized user access. The firewall prevents SSH access to the Splunk Cloud deployment, which means that you cannot edit configuration files or use the command line interface (CLI) to configure your Splunk Cloud deployment (except on forwarder hosts, which run in your corporate network). To configure settings, use Splunk Web. If you need to modify your configuration in a way that is not supported by Splunk Web, submit a case on the Support Portal.
