Splunk AR release notes

Splunk AR version 5.0.3 was released on November 2, 2022.

What's new

This release of the Splunk AR mobile app is a minor maintenance update. No major features were added.


The Splunk AR mobile app version 3.0.0 and higher requires iOS 13.0 or higher, Splunk Secure Gateway, and the Splunk App for AR. Splunk Secure Gateway lets you register mobile devices. The Splunk App for AR lets you set up and administrate your Splunk AR mobile app deployment.

If you're migrating from Splunk Cloud Gateway to Splunk Secure Gateway, you must have Splunk Cloud Gateway installed when switching to Splunk Secure Gateway and the Splunk App for AR. If you don't have Splunk Cloud Gateway installed when upgrading, you'll lose all assets, asset groups, workspaces, geofences, beacons, and permission settings.
