Release notes for the Splunk Add-on for Nagios Core

Version 1.2.1 of the Splunk Add-on for Nagios Core was released on September 25, 2020.

Compatibility

Version 1.2.1 of the Splunk Add-on for Nagios Core is compatible with the following software, CIM versions, and platforms.

Splunk platform versions 7.2, 7.3, 8.0
Splunk DB Connect 3.1 and higher (3.0 is not supported)
CIM 4.17
Platforms Linux
Vendor Products Nagios Core 4.3.4, 4.4.5, 4.4.6; NDOUtils

The field alias functionality is compatible with the current version of this add-on. The current version of this add-on does not support older field alias configurations.

New features

Version 1.2.1 of the Splunk Add-on for Nagios Core includes the following new features:

  • Support for DB Connect version 3.4.X.
  • Support for versions 4.3.4, 4.4.5, and 4.4.6 of Nagios Core.
  • The following event types have been added:
