Using the Splunk Metrics Workspace

Open the Splunk Metrics Workspace

You can open the Splunk Metrics Workspace from the Search & Reporting app or from another app in Splunk Enterprise, depending on the data you want to analyze.

Open the Splunk Metrics Workspace from the Search & Reporting app

Open the Splunk Metrics Workspace from the Search & Reporting app to visualize and analyze metrics and accelerated datasets.

  1. Open the Search & Reporting App in Splunk Web.
  2. Click the Metrics tab on the Search & Reporting bar.

Open the Splunk Metrics Workspace from another app in Splunk Enterprise

Open the Splunk Metrics Workspace from another app in Splunk Enterprise to analyze metrics and accelerated datasets from that app.

  1. Open the app in which you want to use the Splunk Metrics Workspace.
  2. In your Splunk Web URL, add /analysis_workspace after the app's name.
    For example, to open the Splunk Metrics Workspace in the Splunk App for Infrastructure, enter the following URL:
    http://<splunkhost>:<port>/app/splunk_app_infrastructure/analysis_workspace.
  3. Press Enter.
