About the Splunk Security Add-on for SAP solutions

The Splunk Security Add-on for SAP® solutions retrieves alerts generated by SAP Enterprise Threat Detection (ETD) software. SAP ETD detects potential attacks on SAP systems at the application level by gathering and analyzing log data.

The add-on lets you perform the following tasks:

  • Configure the SAP Enterprise Threat Detection instance
  • Configure the input
  • Troubleshoot using a dedicated troubleshooting dashboard
  • Review availability of correlation searches
  • Use available Common Information Model (CIM) mapping to your alerts data model

Follow these steps to retrieve alerts generated by ETD software:

  1. Purchase Splunk Security for SAP® solutions.

    You must purchase Splunk Security for SAP solutions to download the add-on.

  2. Download the Splunk Security Add-on for SAP® solutions from Splunkbase.
  3. Check the Splunk Security Add-on for SAP solutions Installation requirements.
  4. Install the Splunk Security Add-on for SAP solutions.
  5. After installing the add-on, you can download the Splunk Security App for SAP® solutions to start visualizing your alerts.
