Version 1.0.1 of the Splunk Supporting Add-on for VMware was released on October 12, 2021.

What's new

The Splunk Supporting Add-on for VMWare version 1.0.1 now uses jQuery v3.5.0. The add-on uses jQuery v3.5 in Splunk version 8.2 or higher. This increases add-on security by fixing known cross-site scripting (XSS) related vulnerabilities, as well as vulnerabilities created by object prototype pollution.
