Use the Splunk Platform Upgrade Readiness App

Share data in the Splunk Platform Upgrade Readiness App

When the Splunk Platform Upgrade Readiness App is deployed on Splunk Enterprise, the Splunk platform sends anonymized usage data to Splunk Inc. ("Splunk") to help improve the Splunk Platform Upgrade Readiness App in future releases. What data is collected

Component Description Example
app.pythonmigration.data Finds your version of the Upgrade Readiness App, the type of scans that you run, and the amount of time in minutes that your scans take.

Also, gathers metadata on the types of apps that you scan, such as if your apps are from Splunkbase or not, and the results of the app scans.
