Splunk Mobile release notes
Splunk Mobile version 2.0.1 was released on October 23, 2019. There are no fixed or known issues for this release.
New features
The following are new features in Splunk Mobile version 2.0.1:
- Splunk Phantom Mobile: View and respond to events and notifications, view dashboards, and run playbooks with Phantom Mobile.
- Natural Language Platform (NLP): Speak to Splunk Mobile and get saved search and dashboard results.
- In-app device registration: Allow users to register their devices in the Splunk Mobile app.
- Mobile Device Management (MDM): Scale and secure your Splunk Mobile deployment with MDM. See Deploy Splunk Mobile at scale for more information.
- You can still register to instances with the authentication code even with MDM.
Splunk Cloud Gateway is the backend infrastructure for all Connected Experiences apps, so features and known pertaining to Splunk Cloud Gateway pertain to the Splunk Mobile.
