Splunk Mobile for Android release notes

This version of Splunk Mobile for Android was released on May 1, 2023. This version of Splunk Mobile for Android has the following features and known issues.

What's new

This version of Splunk Mobile for Android has the following update:

  • Support for adding tables, charts with split series, and overlay fields as widgets. See Add a dashboard panel as a widget to learn more.
  • Added tooltips to introduce new features during releases.
  • Provided more details about libraries in the Third-party licenses page.
  • Performance and stability improvements

Fixed issues

This version of Splunk Mobile for Android has no fixed issues.

Known issues

This version of Splunk Mobile for Android has the following known issues:

13 September 2022 MSB-3138

Active users are being logged out after 30 days and there's a limit to the number of registered devices a user could log in with. This affects all Splunk Mobile users. A fix is in progress for Splunk Cloud Platform version 9.0.2203 and Splunk Enterprise version 9.0.3.

Workaround: Navigate to Settings > Tokens and delete all tokens from the cloudgateway audience, and make sure each user has a maximum of 2 registered devices.
