The Content Pack for Windows Dashboards and Reports was released on July 13, 2023, as part of version 2.0.0 of the Splunk App for Content Packs.Here's what's new in this version of the Content Pack for Windows Dashboards and Reports.

New features

New features of version 1.2.1 of the Content Pack for Windows Dashboards and Reports include the following:

New feature Description
Resolved JS vulnerabilities To enhance the security of the Content Pack for Windows Dashboards and Reports, updates have been made to third party JS libraries. These updates have resolved several vulnerabilities related to JavaScript, including Arbitrary Code Injection vulnerabilities. As a result, the content pack is now more secure and less susceptible to potential security breaches.
Deactivated the saved searches of the content pack To enhance performance, all the saved searches that are associated with the content pack are shipped as disabled. To activate the saved searches refer to Install and configure the Content Pack for Windows Dashboards and Reports.
