Release notes for the Content Pack for Monitoring Microsoft Windows

Version 1.0.1 of the Content Pack for Monitoring Microsoft Windows was released on October 29, 2020. The following sections explain the contents of the current and past releases.

Version 1.0.1 is updated to include compatibility with ITSI version 4.7.0 and later.

KPI base searches The following KPI base searches that you can tune for your environment:
  • OS:Performance.WIN.CPU
  • OS:Performance.WIN.LogicalDisk
  • OS:Performance.WIN.Memory
  • OS:Performance.WIN.Network
  • OS:Performance.WIN.PhysicalDisk
  • OS:Performance.WIN.Process
  • OS:Performance.WIN.System
  • OS:Performance.WIN.WinHostMon
  • OS service template A service template called Windows server health for monitoring OS health metrics for CPU, memory, disk, and network. The KPIs in this service template are tuned for general purposes.
    Sample OS service A sample service called SAMPLE - Windows server health linked to the Windows service template and disabled by default. Use this service to test entity filtering and KPI thresholds.
