New features and enhancements with behavioral analytics service

This topic applies only to customers on the Splunk Cloud platform.

The behavioral analytics service is integrated into Splunk Enterprise Security. However, new features and enhancements in the behavioral analytics service might be released asynchronously from Splunk Enterprise Security releases. This list is periodically updated with the latest functionality and changes to behavioral analytics service.

The behavioral analytics service supports the use of heavy weight forwarders to ingest supported data sources.
