Splunk Cloud Gateway release notes

This version of Splunk Cloud Gateway has the following new features, known issues and fixed issues.

To use the Connected Experiences apps, you must update the mobile apps to v1.3.0 and Splunk Cloud Gateway to v1.3.1.

New features

The following are new features in Splunk Cloud Gateway v1.3.1:

  • Use more than just QR codes and NFC tags with Splunk AR. Register a wide variety of assets in a new Splunk AR tab in Splunk Cloud Gateway.
  • Admins now have a Cloud Gateway Status dashboard tab in the navigation bar of Splunk Cloud Gateway.
  • Install Splunk Cloud Gateway on Splunk Cloud through SSAI.
  • https proxy support improvements

Known issues

Splunk Cloud Gateway is used to configure and send information to all apps, so issues pertaining to Splunk Cloud Gateway pertain to all Connected Experiences apps. If no issues appear below, none have been reported.

2019-04-29 MSB-783 When you change a dashboard permission, the create/edit asset modal doesn't work.

Splunk Connected Experiences apps do not support all visualizations and configurations. See Visualization support in the Splunk Cloud Gateway Release Notes manual for a list of supported and unsupported visualizations.
