About the examples

We have provided some examples so that you can explore how data collection works at a detailed level in the engine.conf files.

The examples range in complexity from using a single engine.conf file to collect data from a simple environment to splitting data collection between engine.conf files. The more complex data collection examples show some of the more powerful capabilities of the files.
