Adjust AR workspaces and visualizations using Splunk AR

After scanning an AR workspace, you can adjust its dimensions, placement, and visualization positions.

See About AR workspaces to learn more about AR workspaces.

Image-based assets such as barcodes, logos, or text strings provide Splunk AR with a visual reference so you can save the exact position of a workspace and its visualizations.

Prerequisites

Before adjusting AR workspaces and visualizations, make sure the following requirements are complete:

Resize the workspace or a visualization

  1. Scan an asset that has an AR workspace associated with it.
  2. Tap the workspace name to resize the workspace, or tap a visualization to resize a visualization.
  3. Pinch or expand your fingers to resize the workspace or visualization.
  4. Tap Save.

Reposition the workspace or a visualization

  1. Scan an asset that has an AR workspace associated with it.
  2. Long press the workspace name to reposition the workspace, or long press a visualization to reposition a visualization.
  3. While holding the workspace name or visualization, move your device. The workspace or visualization moves with your mobile device.
  4. Release the workspace or visualization where you want to place it.
  5. Tap Save.
