The Splunk Add-on for Java Management Extensions (JMX) allows a Splunk software administrator to poll local or remote JMX Management Servers running in Java Virtual Machines and index MBean attributes, outputs from MBean operations, and MBean notifications. This add-on provides modular inputs and CIM-compatible knowledge to use with other Splunk apps, such as Splunk Enterprise Security, the Splunk App for PCI Compliance, and Splunk IT Service Intelligence.
