Installation and configuration overview for the Splunk Add-on for Carbon Black

To install and configure the Splunk Add-on for Carbon Black on your supported platform, follow these steps.

1. Download the Splunk Add-on for Carbon Black.

2. Install the add-on as described in Install the Splunk Add-On for Carbon Black.

3. Download the Carbon Black Event Forwarder utility as described in Carbon Black requirements.

4. Configure your HEC or monitor input to get your Carbon Black data from the JSON file into Splunk Enterprise as described in Configure monitor inputs for the Splunk Add-on for Carbon Black.
