Overview of TA-Windows-Exchange-IIS

The TA-Windows-Exchange-IIS add-on comes with the Splunk Add-on for Microsoft Exchange package. It collects Performance Monitoring and Windows Host Monitoring data from Exchange Server hosts that hold the Client Access Exchange Server role. It supports the collection of data from the Exchange Server 2016 and Exchange Server 2019.

The add-on should be installed on a universal forwarder that has been installed on the Exchange Server host. The add-on is configured to collect data for the EOL Exchange Server as well. Since they are not supported, you must configure it to only collect data for the supported version of Exchange Server 2016 or 2019.

Use a deployment server to manage distribution of this add-on to your Exchange Server hosts.
