Requirements

Splunk Mobile for Android requires Android 7.1 or later.

The following Android devices have been tested and certified as compatible with Splunk Mobile:

  • Google Pixel 3, 3a, 3a XL, 4, 4a, 4XL, 5, 5a, 6, 6a
  • Samsung Galaxy S10, S21, A12,A20, A22, A32, A40, A52
  • Nokia 5.3, 7.2
  • Honor View 10
  • One Plus pro 8
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 6A, 7, 8, 10 Pro
  • Xiaomi Mi A3
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3

Other devices may work with Splunk Mobile for Android but have not been tested and certified as compatible.

Steps

Download Splunk Mobile for Android on the Google Play Store.

  1. On your mobile device, launch the Google Play Store.
  2. Search for "Splunk Mobile."
  3. Tap the Splunk Mobile app.
  4. Download the Splunk Mobile app.

After you download Splunk Mobile, log into a Splunk platform instance. See Log into a Splunk platform instance in a Connected Experiences app in the Use Splunk Secure Gateway manual to get started.

Download the MDM-distributed Splunk Mobile app

If your organization has distributed Splunk Mobile using MDM and in-app device registration, follow the instructions provided by your administrator to download Splunk Mobile from your MDM provider's internal app store.

After you download Splunk Mobile, log into a Splunk platform instance. See Log in if your organization uses MDM in the Use Splunk Secure Gateway manual to get started.
