Splunk Mobile for Android release notes

This version of Splunk Mobile for Android was released on June 30, 2023. This version of Splunk Mobile for Android has the following features and known issues.

What's new

This version of Splunk Mobile for Android fixes has the following updates:

  • You can now manage notifications for when a scheduled report finishes running. Navigate to the Reports page, select a report view it's details, and tap the bell icon to schedule report notifications.
  • You can now share dashboards as a link to view the latest updates or as an image to show the current state.
  • You can now view a dashboard from an alert.

Fixed issues

This version of Splunk Mobile for Android fixes an issue that caused the app to unexpectedly close when using the widgets feature.

Known issues

This version of Splunk Mobile for Android has the following known issues:

Active users were being logged out after 30 days and there's a limit to the number of registered devices a user could log in with. This affects all Splunk Mobile users. A fix is in progress for Splunk Cloud Platform version 9.0.2303 and Splunk Enterprise version 9.0.3.

Workaround: Navigate to Settings > Tokens and delete all tokens from the cloudgateway audience, and make sure each user has a maximum of 2 registered devices.
