Install Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence on a single search head or a search head cluster

You can install Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence on either a single search head or a search head cluster.

Install the app on a single search head

You can install Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence on either Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud Platform.

Install on Splunk Enterprise

To install Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence on Splunk Enterprise, you can do either of the following:

• Download the Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence app from Splunkbase and install it on the search head.

  The Splunkbase link for Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence is restricted for only approved downloaders.

• Install the app directly on the search head from the Splunk Enterprise home page.

  You can install the app from the home page only if your Splunk Enterprise server or your client machine is connected to the internet.

Install on Splunk Cloud Platform

To install Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence on Splunk Cloud Platform, use Splunk Web to install the app from Splunkbase. See Install a public app from Splunkbase.

Install the app on a search head cluster

To install Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence on a search head cluster, follow these steps:

1. Download the app on Splunkbase.
2. Distribute the app to search head cluster members using the deployer. See Use the deployer to distribute apps and configuration updates.
