Investigate Assets and Assess Risk in Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence

Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence is not compatible with Splunk Enterprise 9.1.2 due to known issues SPL-237796, SPL-248319 where search results in "results" have more rows than expected. Upgrade to Splunk Enterprise 9.1.3 to use Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence.

Customize the home page in Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence

Edit the home page settings so that you can customize your asset overview in the Home dashboard of Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence. You can opt to show risk scoring charts, select which asset types to see, and manage the display of metrics.

To customize the home page, complete the following steps:

  1. In Splunk Asset and Risk Intelligence, select Home in the main menu navigation bar.
  2. Select the settings icon ( settings ).
  3. Select the Customize risk visibility check box to see the risk settings for the home page.
    1. If you want to see risk insights on the home page dashboard, select the Show risk scoring charts check box.
  4. Select the Customize asset types check box to see the asset type settings for the home page.
    1. Select the check boxes for the asset types you want to include on the home page dashboard. Unchecking the box for an asset type removes that visualization and total count from the home page view.
  5. Select the Customize metrics layout check box to see the metric settings for the home page.
    1. Use the drop-down list to select how many metrics you want to display per row.
    2. Select the check boxes for the metric visualizations you want to view on the home page.
    3. Use the drop-down lists for your selected metrics to choose the order in which they're displayed. For example, if you select Asset Management - Workstation and assign it an order of 1, it will appear first on the home page dashboard. Metrics with an order of 2 appear second, and so on.
  6. Select Save.
